Extra Large Flywheel
A large flywheel is essential for a smooth, balanced ride on a belt-driven, indoor exercise bike. At 22kg the JTX Cyclo 6 ensures maximum balance for a smooth and even ride.
Quadri-Set™ Adjustment System
The Quadri-Set™ adjustment system allows you to create perfect alignment and posture through bespoke configuration. The cushioned seat adjusts vertically and horizontally and is easily secured using quick release bolts. The handlebars also adjust vertically and horizontally. This intuitive system allows you to easily and accurately refine your stance for a perfect set up.
Infinity Resistance and Emergency Stop
The resistance control is both intuitive and infinite so you can tweak your ride as you progress towards your goal. Simple activation emergency stop is there to prevent accidents even when clipped in.
SPD Clip-In Pedal System (Optional Upgrade)
The JTX Cyclo 6: Indoor Exercise Bike comes with toe clips and flat pedals as standard. The JTX Dual Pedal System is available as an upgrade. These pedals feature an SPD clip-in system on one side to use with cycling shoes and toe clips on the other. Clipping in allows you to complete a powerful 360-degree pedal stroke. You will train with greater power and efficiency in a closer simulation of road riding.
Heart Rate Training
The free training monitor allows you to keep your training in the ideal heart rate zone when combined with a Polar-compatible heart rate monitor (sold separately). Indoor bike workouts can make you sweat a lot which can prevent you from accurately measuring your pulse on the hand sensors. The JTX Cyclo 6: Indoor Exercise Bike computer includes a wireless Polar receiver so you can accurately and comfortably measure your heart rate.

Exercise Bike Terminology
Flywheel
The flywheel is a weighted metal disk which is usually located at the front of the exercise bike that stores the momentum as you pedal.
The size of the flywheel is important as it will determine the exercise bike’s maximum resistance. A bigger flywheel will also provide a smoother ride.
SPD cleats
Shimano Pedaling Dynamics (SPD) is a clipless bicycle pedal design. A small cleat fits in a recess in the sole of a shoe designed for SPD use. The main advantage of SPD pedals is increased control and efficiency as you pedal.
Resistance
Exercise bikes use different types of resistance to simulate the sensation of riding a road bike. Different types of resistance include friction, magnets or air. Magnetic resistance is increased by moving magnets closer to the bikes' flywheel and creating drag. Friction (also known as infinity resistance) works by turning a knob that puts pressure on the flywheel, just like the brakes on a road bike. This type of resistance is commonly seen on indoor exercise bikes. Air bikes do not have gears or resistance levels. The resistance on air bikes is created by a large fan at the front of the bike. As you pedal faster, the more resistance is created and the harder your workout becomes.
