ZWIFT COMPATIBLE
The JTX Sprint-5 is compatible with Zwift via Bluetooth connection. Get the most out of the app that makes serious training fun. Zwift will prompt you to increase your speed or incline based on the terrain that you see on the screen. Explore, train, and compete in virtual worlds with a global community. KINOMAP CONNECTIVITY + STRAVA UPLOADS
Enjoy one of the many scenic runs available on Kinomap by connecting your JTX Sprint-5: Smart Edition to the app via Bluetooth. The incline of the treadmill will adjust automatically to match the terrain of your chosen course. You will also be able to view detailed performance metrics, track your stats, as well as compete against other users around the globe. Once you have finished your workout the Kinomap app can upload your data to Strava.
LARGE JTX CUSHIONSTEP™ RUNNING DECK
You’ll have all the room you need on the JTX Sprint-5: Smart Edition thanks to the treadmill’s spacious 140 x 48cm running deck. Impact on knees and joints is also reduced by 30% with the JTX CushionStep™ deck’s 8-point suspension system and CSC springs.

Built to handle intense usage, the smart treadmill is composed of a heavy gauge steel frame, for ultimate stability, and a powerful 2.5 HP motor, developed to stay cool during long endurance workouts. Maximum user weight for the machine is 140kg (22 stone.)

The JTX Black-Diamond™ running belt provides perfect grip and reliability when running. Constructed from engineered fabric, it is designed to last 50% longer than a standard belt.
COMPACT FOLDING DESIGN
Built-in transport wheels allow the treadmill to be moved easily into place. When setting up, a hydraulic system lowers the deck gently towards the ground. Once your workout is complete, it folds up nicely into a compact size, allowing you to store it away easily.

POWER + SPEED + INCLINE
Reach speeds of up to 18 kph on the JTX Sprint-5 Smart Edition, which is driven by a smooth, quiet 2.5 HP motor with lifetime warranty. You can also adjust the deck's incline from 0-12% to alter the intensity of your workout. If using one of the treadmill’s built-in training programmes, both speed and incline will change automatically based on the workout selected.
ADVANCED PROGRAMS WITH MULTIPLE USER PROFILES
With a total of 43 pre-set training programmes, you are bound to find a workout which meets your fitness needs. You can also set up to 3 of your own customised training programmes, should you not find what you’re looking for. Once you’ve selected a workout, the speed and incline of the treadmill will adjust automatically throughout your run.
HEART RATE PROGRAMS + POLAR RECEIVER
Identified as one of the most effective methods for weight loss or improving cardio fitness, heart rate training is available as a feature on the Sprint-5 Smart Edition. The treadmill automatically adjusts the intensity of your run so that you are working within the ideal heart rate zone. Your heart rate is monitored using either the pulse sensors on the handle or via the built-in Polar receiver which connects to any compatible Polar device, such as a chest strap or watch.

Treadmill Terminology
Motorised treadmill
This is a treadmill containing electric motors that move and tilt the deck for you as you walk or run. Often used to differentiate from the cheaper, "manual treadmill" alternative. A manual treadmill operates by pushing the conveyor belt with your feet (not recommended).
Belt
Also known as the "running deck", this is the moving belt that you run on.
Heart monitor
There are 2 types of heart rate monitors; hand sensor monitors and wearable monitors. Hand sensor monitors come with the majority of fitness machines and monitor your pulse through the hand grips. They are good a guide but are rarely very accurate. Wearable monitors such as heart rate chest straps and watches are generally much more accurate.
Target heart rate training can be used to assist goals ranging from fat burning and weight loss to maximum aerobic capacity development. A target heart rate zone is selected before working out based on the users individual goal. A heart rate strap or watch will then monitor your heart rate, giving you real time feedback so you can maintain the right level of effort to stay in your selected target zone. Many fitness machines link to chest straps or watches and auto adjust resistance levels to help keep you in your target heart rate zone.
