What's covered, and for how long

Home Use
The standard warranty applies when FID Bench is used indoors in a private home gym by the customer and members of their household.
The extended 2-year frame warranty applies to domestic use only.
Light-Commercial Use
FID Bench is not a full-commercial gym product. However, it may be suitable for selected light-commercial environments where usage is controlled, modest and appropriately supervised.
Suitable settings may include:
- Small personal training studios where a trainer is present
- Workplace gyms with a modest number of users
- Hotel or leisure facilities with light, occasional use
- Schools, clubs or associations where use is supervised
Before purchasing FID Bench for a business, organisation or shared facility, please contact JTX to discuss the intended use. We will ask about:
- The type of facility
- Expected daily usage
- Opening hours
- Whether use will be supervised
- The number and type of users
- How the machine will be maintained
Where JTX confirms that the intended setting is suitable, FID Bench will be covered by a one-year parts-only light-commercial warranty on all components, including the frame.
Commercial approval must be agreed and recorded by JTX before purchase. The domestic 2-year frame warranty does not apply to business or institutional use.
Where FID Bench should not be used
FID Bench is not suitable for:
- Busy membership gyms
- High-footfall commercial gym floors
- 24-hour or unsupervised facilities
- Facilities where the machine will be subjected to continuous or intensive use
What is not covered?
- Normal wear and tear beyond the terms stated above
- Damage from improper use, misuse, or use beyond the bench's stated weight capacity
- Damage from incorrect assembly or storage
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications
- Corrosion, staining or degradation of padding, upholstery or metal components caused by failure to clean or dry the product after use, or by storage in damp conditions
What this warranty doesn't include
This is a parts warranty. It covers replacement of faulty components under the terms above, but doesn't include in-home labour, call-out visits, or engineer fitting. If a part needs replacing, we'll get the part to you — fitting it is not included.
Making a Warranty Claim
To make a claim, please contact JTX Customer Support with:
- Your order number
- A description of the fault
- Clear photographs or videos showing the issue
- Details of where and how the machine is being used
We may ask you to carry out some basic checks to help diagnose the problem.
For an approved light-commercial installation, we may also request details of the machine's usage and maintenance history.
Your Statutory Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect the rights available to you under UK consumer law.
