Cross Trainer Terminology

Stride Length

Cross trainer stride length is the maximum distance between the back of your front foot and the front of your rear foot.

Your natural stride length will increase as your workout becomes more intense. For example, a "running" action will use a longer stride length than a softer "jogging" action. You should also consider your height when choosing a cross trainer. If you want a full gym cross trainer experience or you are tall, we would suggest that you buy a cross trainer with a stride length of 20" or more.

Elliptical trainer

Typically used in America, this is another name for a cross trainer.

Q Factor

The Q factor refers to the distance between the two footplates. It is important when cross training that your stance is comfortable and your feet are a natural distance apart.

Yes – all refurbished machines come with the same warranty as our new machines. That means you get long-term protection with no compromise on cover.

Can I return a refurbished machine?

Absolutely. You have 28 days to return your refurbished product if it’s not right for you.

Will I receive the same machine as shown in the images?

Yes, but refurbished machines may show light wear not visible in the images. Performance will match our new models.

Are refurbished machines always in stock?

Stock is limited and based on returns availability. If you see a machine you want, we recommend ordering soon.

What is the condition of refurbished machines?

All refurbished machines have been returned to us and carefully restored by our in-house engineers. They are fully tested, cleaned, and guaranteed to be in excellent working order. They may show some signs of previous use, including cosmetic marks or scratches.

Are refurbished machines previously used or ex-display?

Yes – refurbished machines include returns and ex-display units. All machines undergo a full inspection and restoration process. Only machines that meet our strict performance and safety standards are listed for resale.

The JTX Zenith comes with a 2 year in-home repair warranty with all parts and labour included. Warranties are registered automatically when you buy and there are no hidden terms and conditions. In the unlikely event that your machine does have a problem, we will arrange a specialist engineer to visit your home at a convenient time to fix it. It’s that simple. DELIVERY INFORMATION FOR REFURBISHED MACHINES:

All refurbished machines are delivered fully assembled by our 2-person specialist courier team. Delivery is to the room of your choice (for products up to 80kg and 2 flights of stairs), provided access is safe and unobstructed - it is responsibility of the customer to ensure the fully assembled machine will fit into the property.

You’ll receive a 3-hour delivery time slot via text message the evening before delivery. We’ll also contact you in advance to arrange a convenient delivery date.

Please ensure there is adequate space to move the fully assembled machine into your property. If access is restricted or unsafe, delivery will be made to the front door at ground level. A failed delivery fee may apply if the machine cannot be delivered as planned.
