Our vision here at JTX Fitness is to help motivate and inspire our customers to achieve their fitness goals by offering a range of quality home fitness equipment. We also aim to use our business to make a difference to society and the environment.

CHARITY DONATIONS
We are committed to donating 1% of turnover each year that supports people and the planet to thrive. In 2023, we donated £40,000 to our chosen charity, SOFEA. They provide education, employability and wellbeing programmes for vulnerable young people. Find out more about what SOFEA do:
SOFEA
SOFEA started in 2013, as a radical and innovative way to work with disengaged and disadvantaged young people. Typically, these are young people who have been failed by schools, pupil referral units and social services.
Young people are given a real job to help them build a sense of purpose. Each individual spends time working in one of their social enterprises - providing food to people in need, enabling people to get access to digital devices, or cooking for others. Through SOFEA's education programme, they are given the opportunity to gain GCSEs in Maths, English and engage with further learning.
SOFEA's model of formal education, employability and wellbeing programmes is embedded into their food distribution system; distributing 150 tonnes (per month) of good quality surplus food to those in need across the Thames Valley and South Midlands.
In 2019, they launched a second site in Milton Keynes and more recently added programmes to help young people into adult employment, mental health programmes and established a new digital social enterprise. So far having distributed over 2,200 laptops, desktops, mobile phones and tablets for people in digital poverty.
Working intensively with over 1,000 people each year, SOFEA helps transform lives. 3,500 members use their community larders and support over 140 other charities with access to food. 30 of their 75 staff are under the age of 25 and have been through one of the programmes themselves.
The charity also engages with Schools, the Police, Social Services, Health and Local Authorities to influence the way they operate so that fewer young people are in distress. Working with local employers, SOFEA builds their capacity to recruit and retain good staff from sources they would never have considered. To find out more, visit the SOFEA website.
REDUCING OUR WASTE
Reducing waste is essential for us at JTX Fitness as it aligns with our need for environmental sustainability and economic efficiency. We strive to minimise our ecological footprint by utilising recyclable packaging materials and selling refurbished fitness equipment.
This also reflects our commitment to providing customers with fitness solutions that prioritise their well-being and the health of the planet.
Less Landfill
In 2023, we began offering a range of refurbished machines at a discounted price alongside our brand-new products. Our team of engineers at our Sussex warehouse work hard to conduct quality control and refurbishment processes for ex-display and returned fitness equipment. This ensures that good quality machines and components don't end up in landfill.
To reassure customers about the long-term quality of these refurb machines, we offer a full warranty with in-home repairs. We prioritise the longevity of our machines and are proud to provide customers with lasting, reliable equipment which in turn helps curb the environmental impact of disposal.
More Recycling
We are committed to implementing eco-friendly packaging for our products. Given the substantial weight of most of our machines, which are delivered by couriers, we carefully balance recyclable packaging with the necessity to minimise waste caused by potential delivery damage.
Notably, our rowing machines are our biggest success, boasting over 90% cardboard packaging.

As a token of our gratitude, we offer Blue Light card discounts for the emergency services, NHS, social care sector and armed forces.
