Choosing the right machine for your fitness goals really matters. The Ignite AirX range features three self-powered, air-resistance machines that offer smooth, joint-friendly workouts and adapt to how hard you train. From low-impact endurance and full-body conditioning to high-intensity intervals, there’s an Ignite AirX option to match the way you want to work out.
If you’d like to speak to our in-house personal trainer, Frank, to talk through these machines in more details then please feel free to contact JTX Fitness.

The Ignite AirX line includes three self‑powered machines that all use air resistance to provide smooth, adaptive workouts. Workouts on each machine feel incredibly responsive and natural.
The Ignite AirX Skier brings the natural motion of cross-country skiing into your home or gym, combining self-powered air resistance with smooth, full-body movement.
The Ignite AirX Rider combines comfort, performance and durability for home cycling. Its freewheel system replicates the feel of road cycling, ideal for cross-training, endurance or joint-friendly cycling at home.
The Ignite AirX Rower combines durability with a smooth, realistic rowing experience. With adjustable air resistance, a smart console to track your progress, and an ergonomic design, it’s equally suited for serious rowers and those looking for a reliable, enjoyable workout.
One of the great advantages of the Ignite AirX range is that all of the machines are self-powered. Which means they don’t require a plug-in motor or external electricity to operate. This means you don't have to worry about placing the machine near a socket or getting tangled up in wires.
Air resistance machines generate resistance through your own movement. As you push, pull or pedal, the fan or air mechanism creates resistance.
The Ignite AirX Rower allows you to train the entire body in one motion. The movement focuses on the legs, core, arms, back and shoulders whilst also being gentle on your joints.
All three Ignite AirX machines are designed to deliver low‑impact, joint‑friendly training. Whether you're easing back into exercise, managing joint sensitivity, or simply prefer a smoother workout style, each machine offers a supportive, comfortable way to build fitness without added strain.
The best machine in the AirX range for HIIT training would be the Skier as the ski-like motion engages arms, core and legs simultaneously which allows for high-intensity bursts.
If you love long, steady cardio sessions then the Ignite AirX Rider is built for you. Its self-powered air resistance and freewheel system closely mimic the feel of road cycling - while the supportive saddle, padded multi-grip handlebars and non-slip pedals ensure a stable, comfortable ride from start to finish.
All three Ignite AirX machines provide a full-body, air-resistance workout that elevates your heart rate, helping to strengthen the heart and lungs while improving overall cardiovascular fitness.
The Ignite AirX range is perfect for cross-training because each machine engages multiple muscle groups while combining cardiovascular and strength elements. Allowing you to improve overall fitness, prevent overuse injuries and complement your main sport or activity.
Measure your floor space, including clearance around the machine. Then make sure you know the footprint size of the machine so that it can fit your floor space easily.
Will your machine need to be tucked away when not in use? Consider something that folds, separates or takes up little space. All AirX range machines offer compact storage.
Avoid cold or damp areas where electronics can deteriorate. Consider a gym heater for places like garages.

Air resistance machines deliver adaptive resistance — meaning the harder you push or pull, the harder the machine pushes back. This creates a very natural, intuitive workout experience that suits all levels and intensities.
